Notes
Issued between 1959-64. An exceptionally fresh, clean and bright, 1st issue Mobilgas Tanker, and a more difficult find with flat spun wheels. Vivid scarlet finish with complete-virtually complete eye-catching transfers throughout.
Bright silver trim. Window glazing. Black radial tyres. Few tarnishing spots on an otherwise shiny base. Couple of chips on the cab roof and a few minor marks besides. Closest scrutiny reveals an extra daub of well-matched paint to the red paint finish alongside the radiator.
The lift-off lid box is complete and bright with original card packing insert. Seam split to the lid and the usual corner rubbing etc. besides.
