C309
Corgi 309 Aston Martin Competition Model. Very, very near mint /boxed. Racing number 1. Scarce.
Notes
A sought-after Corgi car and one of the key items in the Corgi Gift Set 15 Silverstone Set. This example is in all original condition with a shining turquoise and white finish, lemon interior, notably complete crossed flags on the bonnet, suspension on shining shaped spun hubs, jewelled headlights, racing number 1_.
Issued between 1962-65.
In fine, barely handled condition, with just a little pinprick-sized nick to one of the door labels. Few near-microscopic dots besides. Note that one axle end is rather discoloured.
None of the usual marks on the roof or chipping at exposed edges, including the bumpers. Very nice!
The box is bright and complete with all end flaps. Crisp feel shows minimal handling. Penned numbering (neat and small print) on one box face. Corgi Club Membership Form is neatly folded inside the box.
One of the best examples we have seen.
