We are very pleased to be able to offer this beautiful, authentic example of a scarce scarlet red and pale grey Foden Lorry with a rivet fixing (earlier issues had a bolt fixing). This is the last issue with red plastic wheels. The red cab and chassis is a distinctive shade of scarlet red and markedly different from the standard, earlier red and grey Chain Foden.
What a find in this close to mint, glowing condition! This is an unused truck with only a couple of marks at a few of the wheel arches and the usual tow hook scuff. All chain posts are straight and the chain is original. Tiny marking to the chain post tops. One little mark at a flatbed edge. Reassuring to find these expected little marks – so often high profile Dinky commercial trucks are found with repainting.
This is an impressive Dinky truck on display!

In gleaming all original condition throughout, this rare Foden looks like old shop stock.
The box is bright and sound with no splits at corners. Bright staples. Little edge rubbing and more rubbing to the box base underside. Neatly penned period price at one box lid end.
An outstanding example of a rare Dinky commercial – an excellent investment piece, and a joy to own!
