Notes
Late issue with ‘Dinky Toys’ not Dinky Supertoys on the base. Presents well with a pleasing lustre to the two-tone blue finish, with red grooved wheels. Grey radials tyres including the spare. Correct that this late issue would not have a Dinky number cast on the underside.
This particular variation was made for a short time during early 1956.
Occasional minor mark/rub to the pin-head sized details at the sides of the blue back.
Couple of little touch-ins to the light blue finish at one side (have to peer to see them).
Harder to find dual-numbered box is bright and clean. Correct colour spot. A little age wear including a tiny nick at one short lid end.. Box base is especially clean, bright and fresh!
