C277
Corgi 277 Monkeemobile. Near mint plus/boxed. From The Netherlands Collection.
Notes
This model was inspired by the t.v. show ‘The Monkees’ and was issued between 1968-72. In fine, all original condition with a bright red finish, white roof, detailed cast wheels, complete with all four figures inside. Perfect ‘Monkees’ transfers on both sides, bright chrome engine detail and radiator.
Presents well with a fine lustre and none of the usual rubbing on the white roof.
A few little marks to the paint finish may be seen if you look for them i.e. factory assembly (tiny marks) at a wheel arch rim, little rub at the nose tip (box contact), and a couple of negligible marks besides.
The cellophane-fronted box is clean and complete, with the original cellophane front (small split). Colours are intense. Little repaired tear to one side of the card plinth. Minor handling wear besides. No graffiti. Period U.S dollar price at an end flap.
