D291
Dinky 291 London Bus "Exide". Rare issue with SPUN WHEELS. Near mint/boxed. From The Reference Collection
Notes
Issued between 1962-63, this model has a beautiful, glossy, unfaded red paint finish , and rare to find with spun wheels. As-new, treaded tyres, a Leyland grille and notably complete ‘Exide Batteries’ labels at the sides and ‘73’ on destination boards at front and rear.
Hard to find a mark, but under minute scrutiny, a few minor touch-ins at wheel arches may be seen.
The correct, later issue pictorial card box is vividly coloured and complete. A little light handling wear (little end flap tear). Few stain spots picked up during storage. No graffiti.
