C201
Corgi 201 Austin Cambridge Saloon. Very near mint/boxed. Old shop stock quality item from The Heart of England Collection.
Notes
This early Corgi model (1956-61) has a distinctive, greenish-blue finish with bright flat spun hubs and a shiny baseplate. Glowing untouched colours!
Upon the most scrupulous examination, one will find a stray black dot at a rear wing (may be possible to carefully clean away) and a couple of little (box) rubs besides. Couple of barely visible light scratches on the roof. Bright base and as-new tyres.
The early powder blue picture box is extremely crisp and clean with vivid colours. Scarcely any of the expected minor rubbing at edges. Little end flap crumple. Complete with all end flaps intact. Pencilled numbering on the box base.
