Notes
Issued between 1961-67, this Dinky commercial truck has a vivid red cab, red plastic hubs and a grey back. The rear opening doors on these models are especially prone to damage – this example has excellent and complete rear doors! Detailed McLean transfers on both cab sides are incomplete now. Delicate McLean transfers on both cab doors are perfect. McLean label at the front of the trailer has an edge nick.
Small nick to one of the rear door labels – the other three are fine.
Note the excellent true pale grey colour of the trailer – very prone to light discolouration – this one is thankfully unblemished!
Few marks mostly at a roof edge and to the coupling area of the chassis (not visible until the cab is detached).
The Supertoys box is very clean, bright and complete. No tears or graffiti. Really a very fine example indeed with bright staples – and this example has the harder to find yellow base! Period pencilled price on the lid.
