D413
Dinky 30S/413 Austin Covered Wagon. *Rarest version in dark CHERRY RED WITH MATCHING WHEELS, TAN TILT*. Near mint plus/boxed (worn but complete). From The Reference Collection.
Notes
Exceptionally rare to come to the market place, and indeed only the second we have ever seen or handled, this Austin Covered Wagon is finished in a distinctive original cherry red with matching wheels, and tan tinplate tilt.
(Distinctly different colour shade to the comparatively ‘standard’ red and grey issue.)
In all original condition with a bright base and smooth-running original tyres.
Just a few minor marks may be seen upon close inspection (one on the bonnet and a few at the sides, two at the front bumper).
The pictorial card box is rather worn now but correct with a red spot (in the print) at the end flaps. Complete with all end flaps and no repairs. Little handling tear at an end flap. Crumple and minor wear and tear besides. Period pencilled price on one box face.
Missing from even the most comprehensive of commercial Dinky collections.
