D166
Dinky 166 Sunbeam Rapier Saloon. Very, very near mint/boxed. From The Reference Collection.
Notes
This fine Dinky car was made between 1958-63, in two different two-tone colour finishes.
This issue has a fresh original blue and turquoise paint finish.
Such a gleaming bright base and as-new treaded original tyres.
Only the most uncharitable eye would notice a mere dot or two and the faintest of roof rubs.
The paler yellow late issue pictorial box is complete, with the correct colour spot. Crisp feel. Minor age grubbiness and the tiniest of end flap tears. Small fleck of surface loss at an end flap. Little storage crease. No graffiti.
