D40A
Dinky 40A Riley Saloon. Very scarce early issue. Dark green. Excellent plus/not individually boxed. From The Reference Collection.
Notes
This is a scarce early post-war Dinky model in deep green with black wheels, early 1st type baseplate with cast pillars retaining the rear axle. Smooth original tyres run well.
Rather a rough casting and marking to the paint finish (series of little dots) near a door handle Barely a mark otherwise. Few small light scratches on the bright baseplate.
Issued 1947-50.
A difficult colour variation to find.
