C290
Corgi 290 Kojak Buick. Very scarce authentic 'Hatless Kojak' issue. Near mint/boxed. With both correct figures, detachable roof light and badge. From a lifetime collection in London.
Notes
A very sought-after early issue -this Kojak’s Buick is a bright mid-metallic bronze with 4-spoke wheels. The figure of Kojak is without a hat and also in evening dress. Note too that Crocker (in the car) is wearing a dark blue evening jacket. In the standard issue, he is wearing a light blue jacket. Little details perhaps – but very important to ensure authenticity!
This set comes complete with the unapplied self-adhesive badge and the detachable roof light.
MInor rubbing to the chrome bumpers (if you inspect it closely enough!) and there are a few very subtle touch-ins at a wheel arch. One little retouch at another.
The card backdrop and polystyrene inner are complete, crisp and bright, with all parts intact.
The outer box is complete and clean with vivid graphics. No graffiti and no crease at box reverse where header joins the main body of the box. Minor handling wear only.
