D718
Dinky 718 Hawker Hurricane Mk IIc Aeroplane. Very near mint/boxed with transfer sheet. From a most knowledgeable and enthusiastic collector in South London.
Notes
Issued between 1972-75, this aeroplane in camouflage finish looks just about as fresh as the day it left the shop, complete with bright unfaded paper RAF roundels and tail fin labels, three blade propellor and four guns. Intact plastic canopy. Working machine gun noise mechanism. Looks barely handled.
If you really want to fault it, you could note a stray flick of factory paint on the fuselage.
The delicate bubble pack style box has fared extremely well – so often these bubble lids become light-affected (brittle and discoloured). This example is intact and clear!
The box base is brightly coloured and complete. Minor handling wear only. *Complete with the sheet of unapplied labels. *
