This Ford Transit Fire Appliance is the 1st issue in non-metallic red – a more difficult find. Complete ‘FIRE SERVICE’ paper labels on both sides, intact original aerial, opening doors with fire hose, which you can retract by means of a lever. Comes complete with the two axes! Shiny spun wheels and as-new original tyres.
A few little mark on one side of the van only.
No Instruction Leaflet.
The colourful card box is complete and bright. Minor handling wear/grubbiness, including the tiniest start of a tear. Period shop price label on one side.
Issued 1968-74, although this version would be at the start of the production run.
