Notes
This collector wanted only the best examples in his collection ? always a discerning buyer of the finest examples he could find. After over 25 years, he has now decided to part with items from his own extensive collection.
This is one of them.
Re-numbered from 29J in 1959, this is a wonderful French Dinky classic car in all original condition. Attractively finished in a distinctive shade of mid-blue. A more difficult variation to find; more common version is in red. Shining plated concave hubs with black tyres (smooth, original and well-shaped).
Looking closely under intense light, you will see the faintest of roof rubs (caused by box contact – these French Dinky boxes are always a snug fit!), and a mere dot or two to the lustrous paint finish.
The picture box is bright, complete with a crisp feel. Minor age/handling wear including the occasional grubby mark, light edge rub.
A beautiful French Dinky Alfa Romeo model!
