C374
Corgi 374 5.3 Litre V12 'E' Type Series 3. Very near mint/boxed. Scarce interim version with over-sticker on box. From a most knowledgeable and enthusiastic collector in South London.
Notes
A fine example – the metallic yellow 5.3 Litre Jaguar model comes in a very bright and clean transition box which has the over-sticker, marking the change from the earlier Jaguar 4.2 issue to this 5.3 litre model.
Close to flawless paint finish (two tiny marks visible if you hunt for them), and a little box rub to the front over-riders. This interim model does not have ‘V12’ cast into the side-opening hatch at rear, an interesting variation.
Very fresh, clean and bright yellow card and cellophane box. Intact original cellophane window. Tiny corner crumple.Period penned price on one end flap.
Lovely example; both model and box! Scarce.
