C480
Corgi 480 Chevrolet Impala Taxi Cab. Very near mint/boxed. CAST wheel issue. Scarce. Complete with packing piece. From The Canadian Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1965-66, this is a close to mint, unused example with a vibrant original finish, suspension, intact aerial, and Taxi sign on the roof (complete paper labels). A more difficult find with cast wheels. Door transfer is complete on one side, small top nick on the other side (where it has been in contact with the card packing piece).
Mere dot to the paint finish. Negligible chrome rubbing.
A crisp, bright box. Shopkeeper’s price on one end flap. A pen initial on the other. Light storage crease or two. Card packing and "Join The Corgi Club " leaflet included.
