C258
Corgi 258 The "Saint's" Car Volvo P.1800. With matchstick figure on orange-red label, shaped spun wheels. Scarce issue. Near mint/boxed. From The Worcestershire Collection, largely comprising fine, classic sports and racing cars.
Notes
This rare version was issued during 1969 before the transition to the later whizzwheel model. Crisp white original finish with an orange-red paper bonnet label, dark red interior, grey base. This example presents very well with bright shaped spun wheels and jewelled lights, too.
A few small marks at bumper over-riders, and minor age-crazing to the paper label.
The blue and yellow pictorial box is generally bright and clean with no tears. Slight print fading to the red oval at an end flap.
Inside, is the Corgi Club Membership Form. Small circular label on one box face.
