D965
Dinky 965 Euclid Rear Dump Truck. Excellent plus/boxed. Scarce with window glazing and red-backed Logo. Lovely box! From a collection in Berlin.
Notes
This is the slightly later issue, made between 1959-61 with window glazing and a red-backed ‘Euclid’ logo at the sides. Such a fine Supertoy from Dinky’s heyday; surely every child from the mid 50’s-60’s remembers it well! Very difficult to find absolutely mint. The truck has a lovely, bright, light yellow paint finish, complete “Euclid” lettering (save for a tiny nick to the letter ‘E’ of Euclid on one side), logo, and wording on both sides.
A few incidental marks (mostly on the chassis) and do note that close scrutiny reveals a few touch-ins too. Still displays well. Mechanism for raising and lowering the tipper works well. Such a bright metal winding handle!
The striped Supertoys box is bright, fresh and clean. Notably puncture-free! Really close to mint, in fact.
