Notes
French Dinky military models always impress – and surely the Brockway Bridge Layer Truck is the best of the lot!
Issued during 1961, this 1:55 scale vehicle is in unused condition with a fresh matt military green finish throughout.
Occasional negligible mark only. You can generally find a mark if you look long enough!
It is complete with all of the components to construct the bridge as well as the two ‘floats’.
Also present is the original leaflet – one side of which gives instructions for constructing the pontoon bridge in French.
On the reverse is the colourful river scene:
Note the little scuff/repair and tiny edge piece missing.
The distinctive striped Supertoys box is clean and vivid, with minimal wear. ‘Meccano Controle’ stamp on the inside of the box lid. A little sunfading to the box lid at one end.
Inside, you will find the card packing tray in which the model sits – minor ruffles and a very small tear.
A very fine example and an impressive military display piece.
