C303S
Corgi 303 Mercedes 300SL Open Roadster. Blue. With leaflet. Very, very near mint/boxed. RARE issue with SUSPENSION on FLAT SPUN WHEELS, GREY PLASTIC STEERING WHEEL, GREY TYRES. From a large, stunning diverse collection with many items in old shop stock condition.
Notes
From one of the largest, private collections we have ever seen, with many items bought new at the time and stored away until now. Taken as a whole, the collection provides an exciting, kaleidoscopic snapshot of popular diecast toys issued during the 1960?s -1970?s.
A beautiful Mercedes model in close to perfect condition with a light blue finish. An especially difficult version to find – with suspension on flat spun wheels. Pale grey original tyres, too, and a plastic steering wheel. Later this model in white, with black tyres, shaped spun wheels with suspension would be released as a 303S model).
Just a couple of tiny marks away from mint.
The blue and yellow picture box is extremely crisp and bright with resistant end flaps showing that this box has been opened rarely. Tiny wear only.
An extremely difficult find.
