D112
Dinky 112 Austin Healey Sprite. Near mint plus/boxed. Red version. Scarce in gold EXPORT BOX. From the Worcestershire Collection largely comprising fine classic, sports & racing cars.
Notes
A desirable Dinky car issued between 1961-66 and a difficult find in this gold export box!
Bright red finish and a deep cream interior on this model which is complete with an intact original windscreen, black steering wheel and suspension on shaped spun hubs, bright baseplate. Fine tread original black tyres run smoothly.
Looks unused. Note the little area of rough casting on on the driver’s door and at the boot area. Occasional little mark besides. Factory dab of paint on a front wing covering a little mark.
The gold and cellophane box has survived rather well! The gold card has a rather ‘scrubbed’ appearance now, but surely worthy of note is the intact original cellophane – and there are not tears to the card either! Both of the yellow card fixing pieces are still present, which would secure the model to its base, too.
