Notes
Issued between 1966-69, this scarce and desirable Gift set comprises:
1) 310 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, silver, yellow interior, spoked wheels with suspension
2) 312 Jaguar ‘E’ Type in brilliant chrome finish, black seating, spoked wheels with suspension
3) 314 Ferrari Berlinetta, red, racing number ‘4’, spoked wheels with suspension
4) 324 Marcos Volvo 1800 GTin creamy-white, green stripes, red interior, spoked wheels with suspension
5) 325 Ford Mustang Competition, white, red stripes, racing number 13, detailed cast wheels with suspension
All items are unused and in very near mint-mint condition.
This set comes complete with 2 sets of unapplied racing numbers (Mustang & Marcos) and traffic cones (16 in total loose cones), promotional leaflet and the Corgi Club Membership Form.
Polystyrene tray is bright and clean. Note that one of the compartments has a repair to the polystyrene.
Outer box is generally clean and bright with intact original cellophane A little minor wear and tear to the card. Period U.S. price label at an end flap and a penned period U.S. price on the box front.
An extremely difficult set to find, rare to come to the market place.
