D150
Dinky 150 Rolls Royce Silver Wraith. Near mint plus/boxed. From The Renos Louka Collection.
Notes
A collection some 20 years in the making. Renos Louka from Virginia Water, Surrey specialised in Film & TV models. His interest was due to his occupation of supplying camera and lighting equipment to the film, TV and broadcast industry.
Issued between 1959-64 in a sleek two-tone grey finish, shaped spun wheels. Original treaded tyres are well-shaped and run well. In close to mint condition (note the little minor rough casting at a wheel arch , the paint is a little rubbed at this point).
Bright chrome and a complete bonnet emblem. Shiny base.
Looks unused.
The plain red and yellow box is complete if rather grubby and slightly ‘tired’ now. Very small end flap tear. Period penned price at an end flap.
