This collector wanted only the best examples in his collection ? always a discerning buyer of the finest examples he could find. After over 25 years, he has now decided to part with items from his own extensive collection.
This is one of them.
Issued between 1954-55, this is a very scarce item and notable that it is in all original condition throughout and comes complete with all 10 little metal milk churns.
So prone to chipping at the raised edges of the sides of the truck, this example has a very few little chips only (so often these are found touched-in!). Fine lettering on both sides . Blue paint finish is in virtually mint condition (couple of tiny dots if you want to fault it).
Bright shiny metal parts including the base and axle ends (one has tiny tarnishing). Supple, smooth original tyres have ‘M’ stamped. One has the most minor of flat spts.
The distinctive deep red and yellow box has barely any of the expected wear at edges etc. and the card is fresh and clean. Very minor fading to the lid colour. Space inside for storage of all the little milk churns. Note that this box comes complete with all inner packing, too.
