D106
Dinky 106 Thunderbirds 2 & 4. Near mint plus/boxed (bubble pack issue with DEEP BLUE BORDER). Version with YELLOW LEGS. From a large, stunning diverse collection with many items in old shop stock condition. A lovely unused example from this collection.
Notes
From one of the largest, private collections we have ever seen, with many items bought new at the time and stored away until now. Taken as a whole, the collection provides an exciting, kaleidoscopic snapshot of popular diecast toys issued during the 1960?s -1970?s.
This splendid example has a pleasing metallic blue finish, with extending yellow legs and intact fresh original labels throughout. Complete with Thunderbirds 4. This yellow plastic model slides out from the central portion which has an intact black plastic hinged opening. In close to mint condition – although you will find the occasional (probably as-made) mark.
The bubble-pack style box is a fitting partner. Beautifully crisp and vibrant clean card plinth. Version with deep blue border and red and white lettering. Notably pristine clear plastic bubble top. So often found damaged, this example could not be bettered!
A delightful example all-round from this collection.
