C231
Corgi 231 Triumph Herald Coupe. Near mint plus/boxed. From a collection in Berlin.
Notes
Issued between 1961-65, this sought-after model has a bright two-tone blue and white paint finish with a vibrant red interior, opening bonnet (notably complete with the detachable air filter!). Nice sheen to the paint finish. Suspension on shaped spun wheels. Fine, as-new tyres. Presents well with a pleasing lustre and not even a hint of a roof rub.
Minute inspection reveals a couple of touch-ins.
The pictorial box is very crisp and fresh, with day-one bright colours. Tiny slit on one side (easily overlooked). Period price is stamped at an end flap.
