Notes

This collector wanted only the best examples in his collection ? always a discerning buyer of the finest examples he could find. After over 25 years, he has now decided to part with items from his own extensive collection.
This is one of them.

A delightful two-piece Gift Set first issued during 1966. It comprises:
1) Ford 5000 Super Major Tractor, in light blue and grey with bright chrome including the chimney, but do note that the top portion of the exhaust his incomplete. Bright chrome steering wheel, transfer have a few little nicks. With driver. Original tyres are supple and well-shaped, although there are a couple of light surface splits to one.

2) Beast Carrier is finished in vibrant deep yellow with red plastic wheels and as-new original tyres. Complete with intact delicate plastic netting and four calves slotted into their ‘straw’ card stand. Usual little marking to the tow hook (practically unavoidable).

Pictorial card plinth is exceptionally crisp, fresh and strongly-coloured, looking barely handled. Both pull-out tabs are in place at both ends too. Lovely bright colours make this a very attractive backdrop for display. Just a couple of little tear wheel slot tears.

The pictorial card box is a real delight! Looking shop-fresh. Tiny age wear only. Notably complete with both packing pieces. Unfolded Corgi Club Membership Form is included too.
