Notes

Issued between 1961-64, this is an outstanding two-part set from the popular Chipperfield’s Circus range, notably complete with all authentic accessories, comprising:

1) Corgi 1121 Circus Crane Truck. Bright and original red and yellow finish with light blue lettering at the sides. Bright winding cuff is metal, shiny silver boom and strung winch.
Exceptionally bright and fresh, and looking unused. Mere dot or two away from mint (tempted to call it mint).

2) Corgi 1123 Circus Cage. Sought-after earliest issue with red metal sliding doors. Notably, the amber roof lights are intact (so often found rubbed and scratched). Occasioanl negligible mark only. Bright flat spun wheels and red plastic tow bar. A fine shining lustre on this early example.

The colourful pictorial lift-off lid box is one of the best we have seen; extremely bright and fresh-looking with no splits or graffiti.

MInor light surface mark and a little corner wear.
Complete with all packing.

Original clear plastic bag contains the 2 polar bears. Unapplied transfer for the cage.

A particularly difficult issue to find – especially in this complete, authentic and unused state.
