C811
Corgi 811 James Bond Moon Buggy. Near mint plus (James Bond no longer pops up)/boxed. Version with DARK GRAPHITE GREY 'arms'. Sought-after model from a large, stunning diverse collection with many items in old shop stock condition.
Notes
From one of the largest, private collections we have ever seen, with many items bought new at the time and stored away until now. Taken as a whole, the collection provides an exciting, kaleidoscopic snapshot of popular diecast toys issued during the 1960?s -1970?s.
A sought-after James Bond item inspired by the film ‘Diamonds Are Forever’.
Obviously unused with a virtually mint paint finish. The red scanner revolves slowly as the Buggy moves along. The ‘arms’ are bright and untarnished roof, and keeps in position well (not floppy as is so often the case). Opening mechanism works well. However, the figure of James Bond does not pop up when the hatch flips open, due to a snapped plastic strut. Complete, clean and fresh paper label at the front of the model.
Few mere dots low down at a front edge.
The fragile window box is clean and bright with intact original cellophane. Attractive inner backdrop (moon scene) is crisp, vibrant and clean.
