D264
Dinky 264 RCMP Patrol Car. Ford Fairlane. Near mint plus/boxed. From The Heart of England Collection.
Notes
This Ford Fairlane model was issued between 1962-65. It has a sleek deep blue finish, straight aerial and white doors, and detailed, delicate transfers on both sides (tiny corner nick to one).
Two Mounties are seated inside. Fingertip steering on bright shaped spun wheels. Shiny baseplate. As-new original, treaded tyres. Occasional little mark only. Note the little (as-made) puncture in the roof light. You have to peer extremely closely to note this.
The pictorial card box is extremely fresh-looking with strong colours on crisp, clean card. Little repaired tear to the tuck-in part of one large end flap.
