D162
Dinky 162 Ford Zephyr Saloon. Near mint plus/boxed. Deep green & cream issue. From an impeccable collection in The Netherlands.
Notes
With an all original paint finish in green and cream, and fawn hubs, this is a fine Dinky car made between 1956-60.
Bright baseplate (minor ‘spidering’) and well-shaped original tyres.
Some of the usual rubbing at raised body lines. No rubbing to the roof – so displays well.
The box is really bright and crisp with the correct colour code at the end flaps, since this model was also available in two-tone blue. Minor handling wear, including a light crease/crumple, and a small scratch on one side. No tears or graffiti.
