C470
Corgi 470 Forward Control Jeep FC 150. Very, very near mint/boxed. Blue with red interior, cast wheels. Window box. From a large, stunning diverse collection with many items in old shop stock condition. Surely opened for the 1st time to take these pictures.
Notes
From one of the largest, private collections we have ever seen, with many items bought new at the time and stored away until now. Taken as a whole, the collection provides an exciting, kaleidoscopic snapshot of popular diecast toys issued during the 1960?s -1970?s.
This unused truck has a distinctive blue and red finish with a light grey removable canopy, suspension on cast wheels. Left hand drive and spare wheel stowed at one side. As-new original tyres with ‘Corgi Toys’ embossed. Tow hook. Issued between 1965-72 (this example in the window box would have been issued toward the end of the production run).
The occasional mere dot/tiny mark may be seen if you peer closely.
The later issue window box is crisp, very bright and complete, with intact original cellophane. Gives the impression of unsold old shop stock.
Very nice!
