From one of the largest, private collections we have ever seen, with many items bought new at the time and stored away until now. Taken as a whole, the collection provides an exciting, kaleidoscopic snapshot of popular diecast toys issued during the 1960?s -1970?s.
Finished in a most vibrant and rich purple, this VW model is more often found in candy blue finish, made by Corgi between 1970-72 only. James Bond enthusiasts may recognise that this car finished in white was released to co-incide with the film ‘You Only Live Twice’.
This example is in very close to mint condition with one mark on a rear over-rider. Bright jewelled lights at front and rear, original aerial, intact windscreen, detailed interior, bright plating, spring suspension.
