N194
Nicky Toys 194 Bentley S Coupe. Very scarce issue in light metallic green, with pale apple green interior. Very near mint/boxed. From The Heart of England Collection.
Notes
Sought after models that are so difficult to find in good condition! Dinky dies were sold to the Indian Firm S. Kumar & Co. trading as Atamco. (1968-70). Often known as Indian-Dinky toys, the finish was poor in comparison.
This example is a difficult version to find and has fared better than many of these ‘Indian Dinky’ models.
This Bentley model has a pleasing, mid-metallic green finish with contrasting paler apple green interior, complete with original driver and intact screen. Intact shiny bumpers.
One-piece plastic wheel and tyre construction. Often found in poor state, these are well-shaped and run easily.
Couple of thin light scratches and a little mark on the bonnet. And that’s it!
The box is a fine example too; complete, clean and bright – and intact! Minor handling wear only.
This ‘honorary’ Dinky is scarce and charming in equal measure.
