Notes
This is a scarce version of the handsome Buick model finished in bright mid-blue with a midnight blue roof. This is an an early issue (1954-56) and a most unusual find with original convex wheels in silver-blue. Early issue so no cross-hatching on the roof interior.
Presents very well indeed.
Shiny baseplate (minor ‘spidering’). Original tyres are rather grubby now but are well-shaped and run easily.
Close scrutiny reveals a little minor ‘blistering’ to the paint finish in two small place (easy to overlook). Barely a mark besides. Note the thin casting mark at one side (again easy to overlook!). Few tiny, very faint little marks on the roof.
The box is complete with excellent strong colours and a crisp feel. One small end flap has a little tear. MInor age wear (including a few ink spots at an end flap) besides.
