D982
Dinky 582/982 Pullmore Car Transporter(transition model). Very near mint/boxed. From a most knowledgeable and enthusiastic collector in South London.
Notes
What a fine example of this popular Dinky toy! Brightest, lustrous original paint finish throughout, this model marks the renumbering from 582 to 982 during 1955. It has a vivid mid blue cab and hubs, with a paler blue back including the decks. 582 stamped on the trailer. “DINKY TOYS DELIVERY SERVICE” lettering on both sides and back – all in perfect condition. No window glazing version. A very attractive example on display:
Barely any marks at all on this truck: just a couple at the front bumper, the occasional little rub/small mark. The usual couple of marks at the drop down hinged ramp. Fine black grille and bumper with both headlights present. Little dulled area on the base. Smooth original tyres run well.
The transition box, bearing both numbers at the ends, is bright and clean, with minimal wear only.
