C249
Corgi 249 Morris Mini-Cooper 'Wickerwork'. Near mint plus/boxed. Cast wheel issue. From a most knowledgeable and enthusiastic collector in South London.
Notes
A popular Corgi model of this much-loved little car with a smart red and black finish and distinctive ‘wickerwork’ panelling at both sides and at the rear. Sparkling jewelled headlights and suspension on detailed cast wheels. Well-shaped original tyres. Issued between 1965-69.
Minute examination reveals avery small portion of the wickerwork detail missing on one side (easily overlooked). Tiny edge scuff to the wickerwork detail at the rear. Couple of near-microscopic dots to the paint finish besides.
The pictorial box is complete and bright with a crisp feel. No tears or graffiti and plenty of end flap spring. Couple of small light rubs on one picture face.
