Notes
Issued between 1958-60 and a difficult set to find in any condition.
It comprises:
1) Corgi 351 R.A.F. Land Rover. Tin canopy and flat spun wheels, including spare. Tow hook. Graded near mint plus. Faint rub marks on the tinplate tilt. Little mark at an exposed edge.
2) Corgi 1115 Bristol Ferranti Bloodhound. Nose cone is notably intact and original, although somewhat age-affected now. Marking to the white paint finish. So graded excellent. Complete roundels.
3) Corgi 1116 Launching Ramp is in near mint plus condition. Bright metal parts throughout. Few little edge marks (easily overlooked)
4) Corgi 1117 Bloodhound Loading Trolley. Working well. Near mint plus. Few marks. Lovely finish. Bright metal parts.
The colourful outer box presents well with strong colours on the clean card. Minor age wear only. No splits, repairs or graffiti.
Nice to see that the Rocket Age Leaflet is included – lots of details and pictures of this military range.
