D563
Dinky 563 Heavy Tractor. Scarce version in blue. Excellent plus/boxed. From The Reference Collection.
Notes
First we have seen in a long while. Issued between 1948-54, this classic Dinky model is a difficult find in blue.
Light blue rollers and original green rubber tracks notably intact , if rather age-affected now i.e. discoloured patches, but fine and smooth running.
Few little marks to the paint finish. Base is rather tarnished. This model comes with the familiar Dinky driver figure, busy at work ‘operating’ the levers.
The buff lift-of lid box has a brightly-coloured paper label. Area of surface loss low down on one side of the paper label. No tears. Traces of old sellotape on the box lower. Rusty staples now. Period price at one lid end. Stamp at another.
