Issued during 1959 only, this is one of the harder-to-find advertising vans made by Dinky during this period. This Morris van has a pleasing original finish in two-tone blue with mid-blue wheels. The distinctive “Have a Capstan” transfers are virtually complete on both sides.
Bright base has minor ‘spidering’ and the smooth original tyres run well.
Tiny area of rough casting low down on one side and note a faint under spray (factory) immediately above the radiator.
The pictorial card box is complete, clean and brightly- coloured. Minor age wear and note the original owner has written in pen on box top and on one box face. Period price is pencilled at an end flap. No tears.
