Notes
The first we have seen in ages! This is a delightful classic Dinky Tanker finished in unfaded red with deep blue lettering and border ( later issue would have lighter blue lettering and border).
A beautiful display piece with a shining lustre and crisp lettering (tiny wear to the deep blue border (visible if you peer closely).
Couple of little rubs to just two of the silver roof details. Merest suggestion of a roof rub. Looks as if this model has been kept safely tucked away in its box for the past 59 years.
The box is complete with all end flaps and strongly coloured. Crisp feel to the vibrantly-coloured card. Note the area of surface loss on the top surface (due to the removal of a price label or similar at some time) as well as the little strips of surface loss at an end flap.
