D274
Dinky 274 Mini Minor Van 'Joseph Mason Paints', promotional item. Very, very near mint/boxed (edge rubbing). With promotional leaflet and packing ring.
Notes
Just 650 of the Mason Paint promotional vans were issued between 1969-70. The Mini Van has a vibrant all original deep maroon finish with intact Joseph Mason Paints labels on both sides and a complete ‘Paints’ label on the roof sign.
Lovely original lustre, obviously a cherished item that has rarely seen the light of day. If you really want to fault it and scrutinise minutely, you may notice a couple of tiny marks.
The maroon card box is complete, clean and vividly-coloured with no grubbiness or graffiti. Edge rubbing easily occurs during normal handling of this box and this can be seen on all edges of this example. Very small end flap seam tear.
The promotional booklet is included along with the original light blue packing ring which fits over the roof sign.
A rare Dinky promotional model which makes an excellent investment item.
