A rare and exciting find indeed!
Issued between 1957-60, this eye-catching Dinky commercial truck has a light blue 2nd type cab, chassis and hubs, fawn/cream back. Rivetted. Displays beautifully with a gleaming paint finish. Bright baseplate too.
The occasional negligible mark and closest inspection reveals a few little retouches to the blue finish (not visible to the naked eye).
The correct striped Supertoys box is bright and split-free. No graffiti. Shiny staples. Old tape remains and very minor wear besides. Dinky stamp inside the box lid dates this particular example from 1957.
