D161
Dinky 161 Austin Somerset Saloon. Very near mint/boxed. Red issue. From The Reference Collection.
Notes
A fine and lustrous version in bright red with matching ridged wheels, bright baseplate with 161 cast. Austin Somerset cast in the underside of the roof. No rubbing on the roof, although a little faint as-made ‘bubbling’ i one small area. Still presents well with a day-one lustre.
Just one negligible rub at a side raised body line and a couple of light flat spots to one of the smooth original tyres (minor).
The clean and bright box is complete, with the correct colour spot at the end flap. Tiny handling wear only. Crisp and fresh-looking.
