C249
Corgi 249 Morris Mini-Cooper 'Wickerwork'. Very near mint /boxed. Cast wheel issue. Fresh, bright box. From a high quality collection in the U.S.
Notes
A popular Corgi model of this much-loved little car with a smart red and black finish and complete, distinctive ‘wickerwork’ panelling at both sides and at the rear. Sparkling jewelled headlights and suspension on detailed cast wheels. Fine original tyres. Quite delightful! None of the expected marks at roof edge or at exposed edges in general, so presents really well.
Issued between 1965-69.
Note the little pin-head dot on the roof where the red paint did not quite cover (as-made). Hard to fault otherwise.
The pictorial box is complete, very clean, fresh and bright. Silky, as-new feel. Only the most minor handling wear. Corgi Club Membership Form.
