One of the most eagerly sought-after Corgi models, especially in this condition with fully working chimes!
The Ford Thames Van has a shining blue and cream finish with colourful awning and decorative trimmings, sliding windows and notably when you turn the handle the chimes play the complete tune (5 notes)! Bright plated fittings and complete ’Wall’s’ transfers on both sides. A little of the usual ’misting. Hard to fault otherwise.
Nice to see that this example comes with the crisp and bright colourful card stand, the card packing ring and the wrap-around card packing piece. Full set of unapplied labels on a backing sheet. Instruction Leaflet/Corgi Club Membership Form is included too.
The decorative card box is very crisp, clean and bright. A superb example – gives the impression of unsold old shop stock.
