D162
Dinky 162 Ford Zephyr Saloon. Very near mint/boxed. Deep green & cream issue. Lovely box! From a beautiful, single-owner collection, some 25 years in the making.
Notes
With an all original paint finish in deep green and cream, and fawn hubs, this is a fine Dinky car made between 1956-60.
Baseplate has a small tarnished area. Well-shaped, smooth original tyres.
Only a tiny amount of the usual rubbing at raised body lines. No rubbing to the roof (just a small casting mark toward the rear of the roof) – this model displays well.
The box is really bright and crisp with the correct colour code at the end flaps, since this model was also available in two-tone blue. Gives the impression of unsold, old shop stock. No tears or graffiti.Very nice!
