Notes
Issued by Corgi during 1967, this is a most sought-after, 1st issue Gift Set, complete with
the ’autograph? Mini and the metallic bronze Hillman Imp. Contents all look unused.
In detail, this set comprises:
1) Corgi 1138 Ford Articulated Car Transporter in fresh and original scarlet red, blue with a very pale green-blue upper ramp, four intact red plastic chocks, cast wheels. The distinctive ?Corgi Cars? sign is gleaming bright on both sides, both paper labels are fresh and clean at the rear. Note that one of the vulnerable wing mirrors has become detached from the model now (still present in the box). One of the roof horns has a little bend. Few little contact marks on the cab roof and at the rear ramp (metal coming into contact with metal).
