Notes
There were lots of colour versions of this popular Dinky toy! This has got to be a favourite in this most pleasing of colour combinations – and in this close to perfect condition, quite irresistable!
This scarce early version has a dark grey cab, vibrant violet blue back (not the lighter royal blue), red ridged wheels, white lettering, smooth black tyres. An all original example that has an exceptional lustre to the paint finish throughout, complete with a working tow hook operated by means of a shiny winding handle.
Marking to the paint finish at the front bumper and one little chip on the bonnet. Few tiny marks besides.
The sturdy deep orange lift-off lid box has a clean paper label (note the area of surface loss at a short lid end). Minor age wear besides.
Not an easy find.
